This policy explains what data Vilgo collects from restaurant partners, how we use it, and your rights as a business partner on our platform. It applies to restaurant owners and managers who operate through the Vilgo Partner app.

Data We Collect

  • Account: Owner name, phone number, and login credentials
  • Restaurant details: Restaurant name, address, GPS coordinates, cuisine type, operating hours, photos, and FSSAI license number
  • Banking & payout: Razorpay linked account details used to process payouts — raw banking credentials are handled by Razorpay and never stored by us
  • Orders: All orders placed through your restaurant, including item details, customer instructions, and transaction amounts
  • Performance: Customer ratings, reviews, cancellation rates, and acceptance metrics
  • Notifications: Your device token to deliver new order alerts in real time

How We Use It

  • To display your restaurant and menu to customers on the Vilgo platform
  • To route and manage incoming orders to your restaurant
  • To calculate and process payouts to your linked Razorpay account
  • To send you real-time notifications for new and updated orders
  • To compute and display your platform rating and performance metrics
  • To verify your restaurant's compliance status (FSSAI)

Commission & Payouts

Vilgo charges a commission on each order processed through the platform. Your specific commission rate is agreed upon during onboarding and is shown in your partner dashboard.

Payouts are processed within 2 business days of each successful delivery. Commission is deducted before the payout is transferred to your Razorpay account.

You can view your commission rate and payout history at any time from your restaurant dashboard.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share it only as necessary to operate the platform:

  • With customers: Your restaurant name, address, menu, photos, rating, and operating hours are publicly visible on the platform
  • With delivery riders: Your restaurant address and order details when a delivery is assigned
  • With Razorpay: Payout processing — see razorpay.com/privacy
  • With Google: For maps and push notifications — see policies.google.com/privacy
  • With authorities: If required by law or a valid court order

Data Retention

  • Account and restaurant profile data is retained for as long as the partnership is active
  • After account closure, data is retained for up to 3 years as required for tax and legal compliance
  • You may request deletion of non-legally-required data at any time

Your Rights

As a restaurant partner, you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by contacting us at info@vilgo.in. We will respond within 30 days.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time and will notify partners of significant changes via the app or email. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version.
