  • Account: Name and phone number used to create your account
  • Location: Your GPS location, only while the app is open, to show nearby restaurants and enable delivery tracking
  • Orders: Items ordered, delivery address, special instructions, and order history
  • Payments: Payment method choice and transaction status — card/UPI details are processed entirely by Razorpay and are never seen by us
  • Ratings: Star ratings and written reviews you submit for restaurants or riders
  • Notifications: Your device token to send you order status updates

  • To create and manage your account
  • To show nearby restaurants based on your location
  • To process and deliver your orders
  • To send you real-time order and delivery status notifications
  • To process payments securely via Razorpay
  • To display your ratings and reviews on the platform

Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share it only as needed to complete your order:

  • With your delivery rider: Your name, phone number, and delivery address once an order is assigned
  • With the restaurant: Your order details and any special instructions
  • With Razorpay: For payment processing — see razorpay.com/privacy
  • With Google: For maps, location services, and push notifications — see policies.google.com/privacy
  • With authorities: If required by law or a valid court order

Location

We access your location only while the app is open. We do not track you in the background. You can turn off location permission in your device settings at any time, though this will affect restaurant discovery and delivery tracking.

Data Retention

  • Account data is deleted within 30 days of an account deletion request
  • Order and payment records are retained as required by applicable law

Your Rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at info@vilgo.in. We will respond within 30 days.

Children

Vilgo is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has registered, contact us and we will delete their data promptly.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or email. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest version.
